I’m back, with another book that perhaps you might find helpful to add to your arsenal of bedtime reading.
Mitchell’s License written by Hallie Durand and illustrated by Tony Fucile offers slapstick fun for toddlers and parents alike.
Mitchell clearly was having issues settling into his bedtime routine until his Dad issues him a special “Drivers License” that allows him, let’s just say, free access to the car, his Dad, all the way to his bed. It isn’t always smooth sailing, uhm, steering, but Mitchell manages to get to bed, and after all that is the objective.
No doubt this book will provoke giggles, no, laughter from your toddler. And I won’t promise that it will make bedtime any easier, but at least you will both be laughing all the way there.
