Great Sand Dunes - Great Is Relative by Steve EckesTwas a dark and stormy night… Ok, maybe not that stormy. The sun was setting, the sky was full of smoke from the forest fires and some sand boarders were getting their final runs in. As the shadows crept up over the sand dunes at Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado, a group of sand boarders paused to assess how many more runs they could get in. From a distance, it looked like they were standing, staring at the much larger mountains and dreaming of the impossible. It made for a great photo.
