Dapper Young Owl - Is It Flirting With Us?
Monique heard about this young owl and its siblings from someone in her network. When we arrived, two of the siblings had just flown to nearby trees for the first time. This dapper young fellow was struggling to spread its wings in the face of the powerful wind. It would come on this branch and try for a few minutes, then sidle back to the protection of the tree trunk and seek shelter, then come out and try again.

As can be seen in this photo, it was quite the windstorm. When all of the gyrations and flitting about resulting from the interaction of the owl and the wind is frozen in a photograph, it looks very much like the dapper young owl is flirting with the ladies walking by. What do you think?
