Too Dark for the Sony a7r4?
We were returning from a day trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. As we neared the lower end of the Big Thomson Canyon we spied several big horn sheep. It was getting late, the sun was setting and the canyon was getting pretty dark. We did not hold out much hope of getting any photos that would be usable.
Sandhill Crane Migration
Getting a chance to photograph the sandhill crane migration along the Platte River has been on my bucket list for a long time. This year we had a chance to check that checkbox. We drove out to North Platte, Nebraska for this adventure. We had signed up with Dusty Trails, LLC, a company that offered guided tours of the migration.
Sony 70-200mm Lens Issue
We went out to Equalizer Lake in Loveland, Colorado this morning to photograph shorebirds. That was the secondary goal. The primary goal was to test the new firmware on the Sony 70-200mm lens. First the back story.
