A New Year at Cattail Chronicles

New Adventures, Art Fairs & a January Print Sale

Happy New Year, and thank you for continuing to support Cattail Chronicles. We truly appreciate being able to share our photography journey with such a thoughtful and engaged community. The past year brought monumental changes for us. Monique’s studio is now fully up and running, and she continues to expand her business at a steady pace. We also opened a small gallery inside Silver Paw Studio and attended our first arts and crafts fair as vendors. That experience was both exciting and encouraging, and it confirmed our plans to participate in more art fairs across Northern Colorado this coming summer.

 Behind the scenes, I’ve taken on a larger role in creating content for our YouTube channel and managing our social media presence. Since social media hasn’t historically been my primary focus, there may still be some variability in posting schedules as I settle into these responsibilities. If the past year is any indication, creativity doesn’t always follow a strict calendar—but I am committed to continuing to improve.  

As we move into the new year, our goal remains the same: to bring you photography vlogs, fine art prints, and stories from our outdoor adventures. We’ll also be expanding our content to include behind-the-scenes insights from local art fairs and other creative experiences as they unfold. This year will be a demanding one. Monique will be primarily focused on growing her business, which naturally requires a significant time commitment. We are hopeful that things will begin to balance out as we move toward next year, but for now, flexibility will be key.

 You’ll be seeing Cattail Chronicles at local arts and crafts fairs throughout Northern Colorado this summer. We’ll share dates, locations, and times as they are finalized, and if you’re nearby, we would love for you to stop by, say hello, and see our work in person. Photography adventures are still very much part of our plans this year. Getting out into nature with our cameras continues to be an important creative outlet and stress relief for both of us. While our outings may remain somewhat irregular, our enthusiasm hasn’t changed. To stay up to date with new videos, be sure to follow our YouTube channel and click the notification bell so you’re alerted when new content goes live.

 Finally, we’re starting the year with a New Year January Sale. We’re offering Monique’s newest fine art photograph, Sparkle in the Sun, as a 17" × 17" print for $90.  That is 50% off.
